My Philosophy

I believe that conscious movement is powerful medicine. Each of us has the innate ability to nourish and heal our bodies. Simply bringing awareness to our breath while engaged in everyday activities can create transformation.

My Story

I’ve dedicated my life’s work to study of the body in motion. As a professional dancer, I sustained a serious back injury that nearly led to a career ending surgery. With the help of Sunday Homitz, PT, I discovered Pilates and was able to avoid surgery and continue to dance. This experience grew into a lifelong interest in supporting others on the path to becoming physically stronger, more somatically aware, and able to live a pain-free life. In my teaching, I am influenced by my extensive experience as a professional dancer, my study of somatic methods such as Feldenkrais and Body Mind Centering, as well as the profound journey of motherhood.
