I’ve dedicated my life’s work to study of the body in motion. As a professional dancer, I sustained a serious back injury that nearly led to a career ending surgery. With the help of Sunday Homitz, PT, I discovered Pilates and was able to avoid surgery and continue to dance. This experience grew into a lifelong interest in supporting others on the path to becoming physically stronger, more somatically aware, and able to live a pain-free life. In my teaching, I am influenced by my extensive experience as a professional dancer, my study of somatic methods such as Feldenkrais and Body Mind Centering, as well as the profound journey of motherhood.
